CALLING ALL GED TEACHERS

I know summer break is valuable time for your GED teachers to relax and rejuvenate so that they come back fresh for the fall semester but I want to share with you a worthwhile opportunity available to GED teachers this summer - the GED Professional Development Academy.

Just 10 spaces are available!

Academy participants will receive four 1.5 hour group training sessions (July 9, 16, 23 and 30 @ 5pm-6:30pm (PDT)).

Session List

1 - Teaching linear equations for the GED test

2 - Teaching quadratic equations for the GED test

3 - Five helpful science concepts that your students should know

4 - Aligning your GED classroom with campus goals

Participants and their supervisor will receive all slide presentations, lesson plans, student worksheets, and class planning documents upfront for the first session, at the time of enrollment.

Upon completion of the GED Professional Development Academy, participants will:

Have three ready-to-go lesson plans, worksheets and practice tests for each of the most difficult GED Math subjects

Have three ready-to-go lesson plans for GED Science

Have a flexible syllabus for the Fall 2019 Semester

Increased confidence to teach and lead students through difficult material

Each session will be hosted live, in a private Facebook group.
